The Minister of Finance has announced the establishment of the Whole-of-Australian-Government Telecommunications Services Panel (TSP) SON 3386916.

Finance has entered into head agreements with an initial tranche of six successful tenderers. The head agreements are in place until 30 November 2020, with options to extend for up to three periods of up to 12 months each.

The Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Stationery and Office Supplies (SOS) Arrangement, used by 140 Commonwealth Departments and entities Australia-wide, is due to expire in September 2017.  The Arrangement, which has an annual turnover of approximately $38 million, has delivered savings and efficiencies to Government. This has resulted in a high level of stakeholder support for a successor arrangement.

The current Whole of Australian Governments (WoAG) Accommodation Program Management arrangement is due to expire in June 2017.

Finance is seeking comments on the draft Statement of Requirement (SOR) on the broader service objectives and requirements for a new WoAG accommodation arrangement.  The draft SOR includes explanatory notes which provide clarification on the outcomes being sought.

Hi all,

I am pleased to note that Minister for Finance has announced that a new panel has been established to provide international and domestic air travel for the Australian Government.  The new arrangement commences on 1 May 2016, for an initial term of five years.  The panel consists of 18 airlines, with four airlines providing domestic air travel services.  The arrangement will continue to deliver value for money, provide operational efficiencies and enable a high level of flexibility to meet the government’s evolving needs.

Finance established a Whole of Government Cloud Services Panel (the Panel) in January 2015 to provide access to cloud services for Agencies. The Panel currently has 114 suppliers and over 400 Services listed across nine Categories.

Finance committed to approach the market in the fourth quarter of 2015/16 in order to refresh the Panel by providing an opportunity to add new suppliers and to expand the current scope of the Panel.

The WITEM program provides female Executive Level 2 ICT professionals in the Australian Government with access to career development guidance and proven leadership skills through a mentor relationship with a senior ICT professional. Since 2007, the Department of Finance has partnered with Dell™ to deliver the WITEM program.
