Finance is seeking comments on a discussion paper that may inform the decision on what form a future accommodation program for the Government may take.

Hi all,
I am pleased to note that Minister for Finance has announced that a new panel has been established to provide international and domestic air travel for the Australian Government. The new arrangement commences on 1 May 2016, for an initial term of five years. The panel consists of 18 airlines, with four airlines providing domestic air travel services. The arrangement will continue to deliver value for money, provide operational efficiencies and enable a high level of flexibility to meet the government’s evolving needs.

Department of Finance Secretary, Jane Halton AO PSM, today attended the launch of the 2016 Women in IT Executive Mentoring (WITEM) Program, the 10th to be held in Canberra for the Australian Government.
The WITEM program provides female Executive Level 2 ICT professionals in the Australian Government with access to career development guidance and proven leadership skills through a mentor relationship with a senior ICT professional. Since 2007, the Department of Finance has partnered with Dell™ to deliver the WITEM program.
