A Global Conversation on Volunteerism and Community Resilience
In line with the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway (AP-IS) initiative to build resilience and pursue Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a live event 'The thread that binds: A global conversation on volunteerism and community resilience' will hear the voices and perspectives from some of the one billion volunteers who are strengthening resilience in local communities.
The event will launch the 2018 State of the World's Volunteerism Report and lead a conversation between Member States, volunteers and development partners on how to best empower communities to help deliver the SDGs and Agenda 2030.
