The Central Asia Internet Governance Forum (CAIGF)

CAIGF Towards Resilient Cyber Space in Central Asia: Determining Shared Responses and Adaptations, 28-29 September 2022, Nur-Sultan, 2022, click here

The Central Asia Internet Governance Forum (CAIGF) is a regional international platform that brings together representatives of governments, business, international organizations, civil society and experts. First held in 2016, the annual Forum is a unique public mechanism for a wide range of stakeholders to discuss Internet governance in the Central Asian region.

During the event, experts and policymakers from the public and private sectors exchange information on public policy issues related to the Internet, promoting a common understanding of how to maximize the opportunities of the Internet and address emerging risks and challenges. Since 2016, the Forum has been held annually in capital cities across the region. In 2022, the Forum will be held in the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the large-scale Digital Bridge 2022 event (an international forum on digital technologies, business and IT).
