Seventh Session of the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway (APIS) Steering Committee & Regional Review of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS)

The objectives of APIS SC-7, which  is held on 8-9 November 2023, in Armenia, are to: (1) Review the progress, achievements, and outcomes of the Action Plan of the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway 2022-2026 (APIS Action Plan 2022-2026), including activities of the three Working Groups of the APIS Steering Committee; (2) Discuss the draft workplan for 2023-2024 of the APIS; (3) Discuss global digital trends and share good practices on digital development, as well as regional/national initiatives and programmes in the Asia-Pacific region; and (4) Strengthen cooperation and partnership among member States, regional organisations and UN agencies, and possible engagement of business sectors and donor agencies - through the Regional Review of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Action Lines.
