Commonwealth Contracting Suite – now available for contracts up to $1 millionJohn Sheridan - FAS Technology & ProcurementProcurement CoordinatorTechnology and Procurement07 Feb 2017

Finance has expanded the capability of its Commonwealth Contracting Suite (CCS).

CCS was originally designed for low value contracts (up to $200,000), but in response to demand, we have updated CCS so it can be used for contracts valued up to $1 million.

This improvement enables approximately 9,000 more government contracts to be completed using standard terms and conditions each year.

Since its inception, AusTender has been a key tool in Commonwealth procurement. It provides a simple and effective way for businesses to access Commonwealth tendering opportunities, and transparent Commonwealth purchasing data.

Building on AusTender’s success and functionality, we’ve launched GrantConnect (www.grants.gov.au), the new whole of Government information system for Commonwealth grants. Government entities will be on-boarded progressively over the coming weeks.
